What is XSitePro?

Welcome to this blog that will give you tips and tricks to use XSitePro at the fullest.

But, what is XSitePro?

For years, I designed web sites with Notepad. I really had no use of bells and whistles of the much more sophisticated other html editors.

Until last month. I switched from Notepad to XSitePro.

Notepad is now rusting in its directory and I really can’t see how I will ever come back to it!

Why?

Well, XSitePro is of course and first, a WYSIWIG web page builder that will also FTP your pages on your host.

But XSitePro is also much more as it allows you to obtain for your site the kind of professional website design that would take days on other programs – in a fraction of the time.

XSitePro has a lot of unique features that you will make a huge difference in your search engine rank.

Here are the features I like the most:

* Verify pages if they are search engine friendly and make suggestions where necessary.

* Add article pages to your site in just two minutes using the fill-in-the-blanks template.

* Redirect pages to hide your affiliate id and prevent your commission to be stolen.

* Manage all of your affiliate schemes using the Affiliate Wizard, which means you won’t have to go hunting through old e-mails to find the username and password for someone’s affiliate administration page or to find the code you need to include when adding a link.

* Insert an affiliate link for any of the schemes you are a member of into any page on your site in a single mouse click, which means no more cutting and pasting e-mailing links into documents – it’s all done for you.

* Split very long documents into up to one hundred (or more) pages that include complete page navigation menus, which means you can create dozens, even of hundreds of pages in an instant (from public domain books for exemple).

* Built in instant always up-to-date sitemap.

* Choose from three different types of pop-up, including one that will help you avoid getting trapped by pop-up blockers.

* Create Google Sitemap. This is part of the Power Pack and allows you to create a Google Sitemap xml file that will be uploaded when you publish your site and can be submitted to Google to get your pages indexed faster.

* Import pages that have been created with Content Desk, Article Automator, or from files on your hard drive. Tokens have been added which allow you to create variables in the multi page creation wizard, in the new import function and at the time of publishing.

* Generate dynamically pages from your keyword list. Rather than create pages one at a time, you can create dozens, even hundreds of skeleton pages that you can then go through and add appropriate content to. Each page that is created will already have a name based on the keyword, the keyword in the title, and your selected primary, secondary and generic keywords entered into the meta tags.

* Add Google Adsense ads into your web pages with just two clicks of your mouse, which means you can add an extra income stream without any extra effort.

* Add a links page to your site that looks great and is easy to update, which means you can benefit from a reciprocal linking campaign (i.e. exchanging links with other sites).

* Make sure that you behave honourably with your visitors data by instantly adding a privacy statement page.

* Produce a list of all of the links leaving any of your pages, which lets you see how optimized the links are for your chosen keywords and phrases.

* Use the Design Wizards to add standard design elements in seconds. For example, if you want a 100% money-back guarantee graphic in your sales letter just select it from the dozens that are available. Or how about a testimonials box. Choose testimonials from the Design Wizard, enter the testimonial, the name of the person who made the testimonial, select a photo if you have one, click okay and the testimonial will appear in your sales letter with all the correct formatting done for you. And then there are bullet points. Choose from check marks, check boxes, crosses, and colored shapes. There’s no need to worry about how the bullets will be laid out on your page as the Design Wizard will look after all of that for you. The Design Wizards will save you lots time and help you to give a really professional look to every site you create.

Paul Smithson (the software author) did really a great job! And I’m not talking of the very detailled manual, the step-by-step tutorials and the frequent (free) updates…

So if you want to spend your time more on the keyword research and the promotion of your site rather than in its building, XSitePro is definitively the tool you need.

I invite you to check by yourself by going to XSitePro site and watching the video Paul made about what you can do with XSitePro.
